Saturday scene

Place cards hanging around, waiting for a wedding.

  1. Who's the bride
    To guess I've tried..

Is the hanging up a Vancouver tradition? I love the virtues under the names.Would you dare to list vices too?

  2. The bride is Anne's niece and her new husband's family is Chinese. The symbols for the virtues indicated at which table each guest was seated for the dinner and reception. Hanging them was just a way to help the guests find their table and no tradition that I know. We tend to create a lot of our own ways of doing things. Especially when there are so many other traditions in the mixture of family heritages.
