That was easy!

I've found a new knitting love.  These gloves were such fun to knit.  They're pretty, quick to knit up and so warm.

And, best of all, I can knit a pair with the same amount of yarn it would take for just one sock.  Lots of pluses.

I think Anne has a definite future as a hand model.

  1. Oh my gosh! They're gorgeous. Weren't those fingers hard?

Anne does make a great hand model.

  3. The glove are gorgeous. I really like the cable section. BTW, did you ever finish the FMcardi? Mine is still "resting".

  5. Thanks for your comments, everybody. I'm pretty happy with them, too.

Rudee - the fingers aren't hard - just like tiny socks. These gloves are pretty basic knitting.

Rose - the cardi is still in parts. Seaming is the dullest activity and a very good reason to knit in the round.

  7. Wow, I'm very impressed, Stephanie!
They're gorgeous. The cable does make them pretty snug at the wrist, as you said in an earlier post. Love the colour too! If I spent less time blogging, maybe I'd get back to knitting...but then I wouldn't get to see pictures of your knitting.
