I decided that I would learn how to knit two socks at once using the Magic Loop. That's the first step...this weekend I will start. I have a kind of idea of what I want to make for a design project but that's for later. To make this more
This is a surprise gift that my friend, Teresa , gave me last week. She thought I needed something cheerful...I did and it is. Isn't it wonderfully bright and spring-like yarn? I'm seeing some stranded knitting in my future.
You can't go wrong with those colors. They look like spring.
ReplyDeleteOh, these colors are so lovely! If I had some of the yarns in your posts, I'm afraid I'd just put them around as decor, with different piles to match the seasons!
ReplyDeleteIt does look lovely, Stephanie.
ReplyDeleteBut so does your washer or dryer- I LOVED the big top-loaders in the US, and you have them too- I'm jealous!
I'm very interested in the idea of knitting 2 socks at once, my Mum and I when doing Aran always used to knit both sleeves on one needle at the same time, also 2 fronts of a cardi! One way of not having to count the rows so much.
Do let us know how you get on.
And now I really want to know what Magic Loop is. Promise you'll come back and tell us about how it goes? ;)
