"So, haven't seen ya for a while."
"Yeah, I took a little holiday."
"Oh. Go anywhere nice?"
"Um...I went to Costco."
"Whadja do there?"
"Just filled a cart. Looked at stuff. Dodged a lot of people. Spent some money."
"Oh. Sounds nice."
"Yeah. It's good to be home, though."
"See ya tomorrow?"
"For sure."
Hmmm...what an odd post! But I think it's funny, too. Because I could spend a few days just looking and loading up the car at Costco. A vacation at a warehouse store!
ReplyDeleteCostco is a highlight in all our "big" city adventures!
ReplyDeleteWishing we had a Costco here!
ReplyDeleteIkea's opening last year is about as near as we have to it, and I can do lots of damage on a visit there!
Have a lovely weekend, Stephanie, and congrats on the cookbook win!
Look forward to your brownie recipe post, I love brownies.
Ginny - it's all too easy to fill up your cart at Costco.
ReplyDeletedeb - Maybe you'll do the Costco shopping for me when you're here ;0 Not my favorite holiday place at all.
Mimi- I remember when the Ikea came to town for you! And, yes, Costco has its place. I felt a little weary after that day, though. The brownie recipe is at the bottom - scroll way down - of this blog page. No separate post.
I don't know how, but we spent $300 at Costco today. We were out of everything. Razor blades are ridiculous. So is the amount of toilet paper I bought for two humans.
