Oh, yes, please, let's have some nice yellows. It's November and, of course, that means rain here.
It was a nice sunny day when we toured the Korean ship. This seems to be a communication tube - nice rope decorating, isn't it?
For more mellow yellowness, visit Drowsey Monkey right here.
Yikes, you've snapped me to my senses that it IS November now! Love those strange horn like things on the ship, they did decorate them pretty!
ReplyDeleteNow that you mention communication, it does resemble an old fashioned ear-horn...Great decorations on it, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit!
I love the rope photos. Did you know that rope was likely initially made on a drop spindle in Egypt. I wonder which came first? Spinning for fiber or spinning for rope?
ReplyDeletethanks for the comment and the visit. nice pic with every attractive yellow color on it. cheers!
ReplyDeleteNice shot.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice warm and yellow November

ReplyDeleteI really didn't figure out what is this until I read "ship". Great shot!
ReplyDeleteTrick or Treat
The ship from Korea had things
ReplyDeleteLike tocsins with loud ding-a-lings
That belted out sound
And made my head pound—
I wish I could fly and had wings!

It's very rainy and gray here in Oregon right now too! I agree that it's beautiful to spot bright yellows on days like this (I wimped out and published that one from last summer!)....
