I hook rugs, I knit and I have a life - not always in that order. Hooking rugs in the traditional way is a passion. Knitting is a way of keeping those idle hands busy. In my life, I am a mother, partner, sister, aunt, friend and a happy grammy. I work with volunteers and seniors when I'm not doing those other things. I enjoy being creative - and often reinvent the wheel. Above all, I value things that are not only beautiful but useful.

Ruby Tuesday
Remember summer?
It's so-o cold here. I'm remembering as hard as I can. Let's go look at some Ruby Tuesday reds with Mary T right here.
One thing that I am so regretful I didn't do any canning this year. I am almost out of my salsa and tomato sauce. Your tomatoes are gorgeous nice shot! RRT-Berry
It's finally cooling down here in Israel too - I actually went upstairs to put socks on a few minutes ago!

Love the picture! And that bowl! We are still getting peppers and some new tomato plants are growing...long season here. I would welcome some much cooler weather--we woke up to 60 degrees toady and it just got warmer and warmer and hotter! Give me some 40 degree daily highs! Nothing colder though...not used to it anymore! LOL
Yesterday it was balmy and drizzling, today it's c-c-c-c-cold. Low tonight is below freezing. I'm selecting what woolens will accompany me in my hospice sleigh.
Your tomatoes are beautiful. Now I'm hungry AND cold.
It's cold here, too, (though not as cold as at Squirrel Queen's) but those gorgeous tomatoes sure bring back some warm memories! Now I'm hungry for a bacon-lettuce-and-tomato sandwich....
I love her red door, but these tomatoes look mighty good, too.
ReplyDeleteSummer? It doesn't seem all that long ago but it disappeared too fast. It's 19 here at the moment with 2 degrees predicted for tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteThose tomatoes look delicious.
Oh yes I do.........:-) Sun riped tomates is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than home-grown tomatoes! Very nice bowl of a delicious food! Enjoy the cold! It's raining here today.
