Brr...it was chilly this morning. But, there was a different feel to this cold. For one thing, I was wandering outside with the camera and only wearing a sweater. There had been a frost overnight but it seemed that spring was lurking around the yard somewhere.
It might be here in this this little clump of crocuses...
Or maybe it's here with the new shoots of chives?
These snowdrops amid a forest of promising tulip leaves could have the answer...
The hellebore "Ivory prince" is showing off its blooms...
Wherever spring is hiding, I know there'll be a lot of cleaning up to do before we're ready to play outside.
I love snow drops! I have only a deck, but still it needs a serious cleanup before I can sit anywhere, lol
ReplyDeleteIt seems you have a very nice crop of toys growing in your yard!! I love the hellebore, so lovely and old-fashioned looking!
ReplyDeleteYes, but you love working in your yard, so it looks like your work will be painless.
ReplyDeleteI love that last photo. Too bad you can't put the toys to work!
Oh wow, I so love to see the signs of Spring popping up here and there. Ok, nothing here but there you are so lucky, I look at 8 feet of snow all around the house everywhere I look. I should do a searching post also. Stop by later and have a look, lol
ReplyDeleteDefinitely no signs of spring here - it is -26C this morning! To me, your garden looks very much like spring has arrived. I love the snowdrops!
