I hook rugs, I knit and I have a life - not always in that order. Hooking rugs in the traditional way is a passion. Knitting is a way of keeping those idle hands busy. In my life, I am a mother, partner, sister, aunt, friend and a happy grammy. I work with volunteers and seniors when I'm not doing those other things. I enjoy being creative - and often reinvent the wheel. Above all, I value things that are not only beautiful but useful.

I love the beautiful reflection picture! That really is the epitomy of tranquil, the water is so perfectly calm, like a mirror!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm with you on the water front, Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteWater has the power to wash clean, renew, smooth over a bad day. And when you stand on the edge of a lake or a sea, we realise what a tiny part of nature we humans are!
Love the Rice Lake pictures, and smiled when I saw Skerries beach. I love how you still post pictures now and then form your trip to Ireland.
Ireland is a special place for me...unforgettable.
ReplyDeleteAll your photos tells a story ;-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Oh, so beautiful - would be great if you could spread this beauty over a few days:)
ReplyDeleteI'm so with you when it comes to water and tranquility. Mom passed away in February and I find it a hard month always. I was walking the beach on the East Coast when I got the call and seems every February I had this same call to go back to the ocean and walk the beach. Not this year as there is too much snow and ice. Soon I hope. Your pictures are peaceful, thank you, I especially love the duck sun bathing.
