A - Z Challenge: Ocean

This is my ocean. My piece of the Pacific can take on many different looks.
Stormy sea

A sunny spring day

Taking a walk in the morning

Always hunting

Old docks for fishing boats

The working ocean

A home for tide pool creatures

Floating hotels

Waiting for a handout

My ocean is never still, never boring and having it close by makes me happy.  I think it would be hard to live away from the sea.

  1. GREAT pictures with much variety! What a cute seal! And I love the heron and his reflection!! I love the little red boat, looks like in between a tug boat and a tiny barge. My family were river people, and one expert swimmer fell while working on a bridge, hit his head and drowned. Why am I telling you this? I have no idea, except that it's a river story. Any houses for sale in your neighborhood?

  3. I so agree. I'm within an hour's drive to the ocean but I was raised near it and I rarely stray farther than that in my living choices. Gorgeous photos. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Your pictures are wonderful! I really love the last one- how sweet! I agree with you about it being difficult to live away from the sea...it just gets in your blood, doesn't it? That's the main reason we stay right where we are.

  5. It's really beautiful.
So many different faces, but each of them lovely, and each portrayed to great effect by your photography.
I'm enjoying your take on this alphabetical series each day.

  7. And this is why the ocean is magic. A body of water equals life in all of its aspects.
