I hook rugs, I knit and I have a life - not always in that order. Hooking rugs in the traditional way is a passion. Knitting is a way of keeping those idle hands busy. In my life, I am a mother, partner, sister, aunt, friend and a happy grammy. I work with volunteers and seniors when I'm not doing those other things. I enjoy being creative - and often reinvent the wheel. Above all, I value things that are not only beautiful but useful.

Ruby Tuesday
These seed potatoes might have had to wait too long for spring!
For more Ruby Tuesday photos, visit Mary T right here.
I have never seen seed potatoes! Did you know that the one thing you should eat organic is potatoes. The sprays and chemicals go right through the skin and they are full of pesticides, etc. Even potato farmers won't eat their own potatoes, they grow a little patch of their own. So cool that you grow your own!!!
Who, those look like they're ready to march into the field and plant themselves LOL.

Lol and agree with Robin's comment! We're just harvesting some potatoes that came through from compost spread on the flower bed! For the 3rd year in a row! But then, it is Ireland, the land of spuds.
