They look like predatory birds guarding the lesser garden residents.
These tall garlic plants have such interesting shapes. Not to mention delicious bulbs for cooking.
But, really, I want to get out my Sharpie and draw some googly eyes on them. Don't they remind you of Big Bird?
Yes, they do!! Or a plant from another planet. I have never seen garlic plants that big in my life, are they a special kind or something?

ReplyDeleteI had to laugh about Big Bird. It's what I've personally nicknamed one of my colleague. She looks exactly like BB. She's tall and gangly with a mop of yellow hair. Big Bird.
Had no idea garlic plants could grow that tall! Yeah, I can see Big Bird in them!
