Ruby Tuesday

It's Ruby Tuesday again!

When it snows on the mountain - shhh! don't wake the snow yet - you have to be able to find the fire hydrants.  And not run into them with cars.  This one is beside a parking lot.

And, because it's still summer at our house...we will walk into the garden and admire the generous Dublin Bay rose with its many blooms.  The one in the shade is the actual color.  That welcome sunshine makes the others look pink.

For more red today, this is the place to be.  Thanks, Mary, for hosting.

  1. I love Ruby Tuesday! Red is my absolute favorite color- it has been since I was a little girl. I never thought about fire hydrants being hidden by snow. Guess that shows how much of it we get around here. LOL Beautiful flowers!

  2. Beautiful roses!

No need to worry about our fire hydrants getting snowed under here either :).

  5. Ours are yellow, but it doesn't matter what their color if they're buried under feet upon feet of snow.

    Your roses are gorgeous.

  8. Ruby Tuesday, good reason for red and gives a good idea to one day a week. Perhaps I'll read the rules. I got a chuckle when I saw the fire hydrant. Your roses are beautiful. At this time of year I don't have much that blooms in the garden as everything here is perennial, however next year I'm going to choose and plant seedlings.

  10. A man made red and a God made red!! What a great idea about the fire hydrant! I'm sure this will get all the neighborhood dogs very depressed, though. I LOVE the roses, because it shows just what a difference the sun will make!
