Labor Day always signals 'Back to School' as well as the beginning of September. And Labor Day hasn't happened yet.
Because it's so late, I can't quite wrap my head around the fact that September has started! Without me. I keep making plans for when September comes. No, wait...it's here!
You'd think I'd only make the mistake once. But, no, I have my own little Groundhog Day movie running. Over and over and over.
So, is this a bonus week? Or is it a lost week that really never existed?
I feel a bit like this bee on a chive flower...head down and keep working. Don't worry about what day it is.
Think of it as a bonus. Just don't be surprised if October comes before you're ready.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean Steph. I don't know if I'm coming or going or what day of the week it is. Heads up--we'll get through it and September will properly arrive.
ReplyDeleteGosh,I thought I was the only one! I agree with Rudee, think of it as a bonus week.
ReplyDeleteMind you, the weather here seems more like late October- cold and very wet, you're glad you're not here!
That bee is certainly busy, he doesn't care what month it is, though he probably knows in his heart.
Stephanie, I've left a little something for you over at my place.
ReplyDeletelets take it as a bonus...and start from there!
ReplyDeleteSeptember means first day of spring for us so we are keen for it to arrive. Today we have had hail falling while the sun shone and a big rainbow lit up the hillside, oh yes Spring is here!
ReplyDeleteThat bee thinks its spring too.
It does feel weird that it's September and we haven't had our long weekend yet. ;-)
