It was dark at 6.15 this morning when we went out for walk in the wind. We made it home just before the rain began. These were the last leaves left on our little maple tree yesterday afternoon.
They're gone today.
Thanks to Drowsy Monkey, we can share our mellow photos. Visit here to join up and see more.
The trees have wonderful colors in autum:-)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week!
I'm glad you were able to catch the last of the color.

Thanks for sharing your last maple leaves, they were lovely!
ReplyDeleteWe have a few stragglers. The maples seem to be the last to let go of summer.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Stephanie. I wonder what it would be like to walk before dawn. Perhaps I will discover that pleasure next summer after I retire. Yet another thing to add to my post-retirement to-do list.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you got your walk in before you got soaking wet - you must have had a premonition. Very pretty maple leaves.
ReplyDeleteOurs are gone as well. They do look pretty and simple when there are only few left.
ReplyDeleteDelightful image ... glad you captured it before the leaves disappeared. Thanks for sharing ;-)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
We're far ahead of you. Nothing but bare branches or brown leaves.
ReplyDeleteLovely little yellow leaves!
