I can't believe that it's Saturday already! Not that I'm complaining 'cuz weekends are nice and restful these days. Almost like working for a living again. In the spirit of completion, I am only sharing finished projects from my stash. Anything on the needles will just have to stay there until next time.
First finished is the Azure Lilies Tee. This is so light and comfy. It looks short and so it is - just waist length. That's a nice feature, I think. I do however have to wear a thin tee underneath as the lace is quite open when it's actually on the body. In a nice way, of course.
I also have for you today, my Last of the Summer Roses scarf. I love this. Love the color, love the yarn, love the pattern. Just everything. The yarn is a rayon/cotton/acrylic blend and knits up to a very heavy fabric. Weighty in a good way. It feels important when you wear it - not hot heavy.
And because stash is stash, I wanted to use up the last of the yarn. What better way than a tiny pair of Baby Janes to tuck into the parcel for my new grand-niece, Emma. She arrived last Saturday and you know a girl can't have too many pairs of shoes. Or too much pink.
Now I'm going to the garden. Some wicked four-legged critter dug up the radicchio last night. I hope it's in a fit state to be replanted. Then, some knitting and piano practice while I wait for the sun to come back. Please come back...it's been a long rainy week.
You are so talented! I love the Azure Tee. It's gorgeous! I really need to learn how to knit. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely on all counts! I have enjoyed the baby janes! Once I was making a left and right shoe instead of two rights...or lefts...LOL
