I hook rugs, I knit and I have a life - not always in that order. Hooking rugs in the traditional way is a passion. Knitting is a way of keeping those idle hands busy. In my life, I am a mother, partner, sister, aunt, friend and a happy grammy. I work with volunteers and seniors when I'm not doing those other things. I enjoy being creative - and often reinvent the wheel. Above all, I value things that are not only beautiful but useful.

Saturday Stash
It's a warm sunny spring day. The garden calls. I'll catch up with the knitting next week. I'll have even more to report on then.
I'm planting peas, beans, cool Asian watermelon radishes and other spring stuff.
I bypassed some beautiful ferns today. The price was so enticing, but it's still cold here at night. In the 30s. They say we may get a snowstorm tomorrow...SOB...

You gotta go when the weather is good and you have the chance!!!!
Gotta make hay (or veggies) while the sun shines! Knitting will still be there next week! (or, in my case, next year! i gotta make music!)
