Sunday wonders - O

O is for Ocean.

Some different views of the ocean...

Early morning on the Pacific lives up to it's peaceful name...

Waves crashing on rocks on the western edge of the Irish Sea near Howth...

On the other side of Ireland, a summery beach on the Atlantic...

A winter's day on the Pacific is not so pleasant.

The ocean definitely shapes the minds and lives of those who live on a sea coast.  Even though I live near the sea, it never gets old.  And before there was such a thing as our 'small world', coastal peoples were connected by the ocean waters.

I never tire of the Atlantic Ocean or the Chesapeake Bay or any body of water actually. I've never seen the Pacific, but I've been to the Gulf of Mexico and am sick about what's happening there. It was so beautiful.

I love each of these completly different sea pictures. Wow to those black, jagged, dangerous looking rocks with the pretty blue ocean around them!!

Hi Stephanie!Love your ocean pictures- that was a great idea for O.
I was just thinking today that "this time last year" you were in Ireland.

The seagulls, I can't get over all. May be they think they are on a barge.

I have never see so many sea gulls like this.

Your pics are gorgeous! I know to find the right angle is tricky sometimes, but you found "it"!
