Chattin'

Oh, good.  It's time to visit with the folks on the farmhouse porch.  I'm so happy to have this little window of quiet and distraction.  Joining in the conversation at Patrice's means I'm not having a mental whine about anything at all - and there seem to be plenty of things to whine about at the moment.  So, I'm here with my knitting.  I've popped a couple of carrots in my bag in case Wendell decides to join the party.  And, Patrice has baby piglets - almost!  Maybe today...?

Can you hear the conversation?  It's already started...

If you wear a hat, what kind is it mostly likely to be?  Most likely to be my Tilley.  It keeps the sun out of my eyes, the rain off my head.  I never travel anywhere without it.

Do you wear perfume or cologne (ever)?  Never...scent allergies in our house.

What's your favorite snack while watching movies or television?  I knit...I don't snack when I'm watching TV.   Movies would be at home since I don't go to theaters.  So, I'm still knitting.

What's the last gift you purchased or made?  I knitted a tiny pair of baby Jane shoes for my new grand-niece, Emma.

Please finish this sentence. Before summer is over I hope I've.... been able to pass back most of my current volunteer load to a new staff member.  It's been a long, long process.

I think I'll just sit and be quiet for a while before I have to go home.  Why don't you visit the porch yourself - right here - and hear what the others have to say.

It's too cold here today to sit on the front porch!

Not many scents here, either. It drives me up the wall to have to sit by someone drenched in perfume!!! It really is an assault to the senses.

I just started crocheting (I know it's different that knitting) & I don't think I could watch tv & crochet @ the same time. You must be great @ it. Have a blessed week :o)

I always learn something new when I visit you on the porch.

I hope you can pass back some of that volunteer load, too.
