Chattin'

I am supposed to be doing something else on this computer.  I am supposed to be creating a newsletter.  I think it will be way more fun to visit.  I thought I wouldn't take the little journey down the road to Patrice's farmhouse today.  I had an early morning meting and then I intended to work very hard the whole day typing and composing.  Or the other way round.

But, I missed everyone.  I sneaked a peek at what you all were talking about and decided to throw caution to the winds and procrastinate just a little bit.  Here's my end of the conversation:

What do you do when friends or family pull out a camera? Hide, pose, smile, pull out your own camera and take a photo of whatever they are photographing, or something else?  Mostly, I used to try to get out of photos because I hated looking at myself.  In my twenties, we had a friend who took wonderful photos of people and I liked how he made me look.  Having kids, there are always snaps being taken and I kind of got over the photo-phobia.  Now, it's OK.  Sometimes it's even good.

Did you take any type of music lesson in elementary school?  No.  No music lessons at all until two years ago when I began to learn the piano.  Still very much an elementary school player, though.

What is your favorite color of cat (even if you aren't a cat person)?  Ginger cats, especially the ones with darker orange markings.  If I can't have a ginger, I'll be happy with a tabby.  These are country-cottage cats to me.

What did you have for dinner yesterday?  Barbecued hamburgers and cole slaw.

Do your feet hit the floor running in the morning, or do you drag your self out of bed?  Don't think I've ever hit the floor running.  But I've never had to drag myself out of bed.  I'm a morning person and like waking up to a new day.  Sleeping in is impossible.

Now I think I'd better get back to that newsletter.  Thanks for the break.

I D-R-A-G out of bed!!! I didn't used to want my picture taken, till I started snapping a lot and saw how bad I felt if someone didn't want me to take their picture.

Unfortunately, I enjoy procrastinating too. I bet ginger kitties are pretty...They're the orange ones right? LOL Have a blessed day :o)

Mmmm...the burgers sound delish! I can't sleep in either. And, believe it or not, it's not just because of the dogs. I actually can't sleep past 6:00--mostly I'm up even earlier.

I'm getting hungry now, reading of your hamburgers and coleslaw. It's ages since I had coleslaw, so maybe tomorrow (going out for dinner this evening).
I hate photos of myself, but I get them taken cos I value the pics of my Mum now she's gone (is that morose?)
Hope you got that dang newsletter done, early morning if not yesterday!! I'm so not a morning person, takes me an hour to get going!

I like those beautiful tabby tortoiseshell cats because each one seems to be different. I specially like them when the tortoiseshell is mixed with white.

I can't sleep in either. I need less sleep than I used to anyway.
