More rugs

And now for the new stuff.  There weren't as many of these but it's interesting to compare the colors and the styles.

This beautiful bag (c.1930) was under glass as were all of the Grenfell Museum exhibits.  But, wouldn't it be lovely to have such an unusual accessory?

These  two photos are also taken at the Grenfell Museum.

These, made in the 1920's  were on the walls at the home of Sir Wilfred Grenfell.  He was a medical doctor and came to bring health care to the isolated fishing villages.  Even today, those who live and work along the coast must travel to larger centers for any kind of care.  Specialists are even further away.  You can read more about him here

Some very new rugs which were for sale at one of the National Parks visitor centers.  Sorry, I can't remember which one.

Another by a different artist.

And, now, I'm off to a Board meeting.  It was nice to have that break but, right now?...I think I wanna go back!

I do understand you could have used lots more time travelling around. Thanks for all the great photos and tellings :)
