Ruby Tuesday

This glam shoe - and ring holder - is something I'm happy to leave in the shop window.  It makes me smile to see it, though.

Do people still have dressing tables in their bedrooms where something like this would be right at home?

Ruby Tuesday is kindly hosted by Mary T.  Visit here for more red stuff...

It looks cute on the table; I can't imagine wearing it on my foot! I'd stumble immediately. Fun choice for Ruby Tuesday.

Well it very cute. I can see it now in the bathroom or dressing room of a vintage home but not homes now days. My cats would love the little feathers on it and would make a mess of it pretty quickly! :) Great photo for Ruby Tuesday!

Where ever did you find it? According to decorating mags dressing tables are making a comeback, I think some of the new massive homes have more than enough room for them.

It's very frilly. I've often thought (back in the day), I'd like to display some of my shoes as art. I don't think my Keens and Danskos qualify as art--though my feet are much happier than they used to be.

Fabulous red color and indeed it is glamorous! I can't picture it in a modern home. :)

Oh my that is quite the shoe! I'm not even sure where I would wear it let alone have a dressing table for it.

I'm not sure about a dressing table. But my seven year old would LOVE this little ring holder. She loves all things pretty. And she is pushing her way to becoming a full fledged diva.
This scares me for teenage years.
If you'd like to stop by my blog I'm at Cake Crumbs.

Yes I'd leave it there too, nice to see it though!

It's very pretty, but too much dusting involved for me! I'd leave it in the shop too, and leave my rings in my jewellery box.

It makes me smile, though I can't imagine it at home in my house.

I was wondering about dressing tables just the other day. My grandmother had one with one of those beautiful heavy brush, comb and mirror sets. This shoe would have fitted in perfectly!

It sure is fancy! I agree that it looks better in the window than in my house.
