Ruby Tuesday in 3-D! A high fashion night.
Last night we decided to watch the 50-year-old 3D film footage of Queen Elizabeth's coronation on CBC. I first saw it on a neighbor's black and white TV when I was a little girl. Big box - tiny screen. But it was so amazing. We wouldn't get a TV in our house for 3 more years. Just in time for Ed Sullivan and Elvis. And it was still amazing.
Hope your Ruby Tuesday is as memorable...check in with Mary T here for more rubies.

Lol, these glasses look very chic !
I went with my grandma to the cinema for the first time in my life to see this film !
TV came only years later ! My parents bought their first TV in 1962 !
Neat glasses. Times sure have changed - now we're technology overloaded.
The 3 of you look so cute! And having a good time -you're giving these girls some great memories to look back on later:)
What a fun picture! But are you serious? Has the film footage been converted to 3-D? I thought you had to have a special T.V. for that, but maybe not if you have the glasses!! Hey, where are the T.V. dinners??? The rules are, it must be salisbury steak or fried chicken!!
Randi and I recorded it - Gretta picked up the glasses at the post office yesterday! Maybe I'll watch it tonight...
Ha, ha, ha. Love the 3D glasses! I remember black and white t.v. and when we got our first RCA when I was a kid! It was amazing!!

I remember very well when we our first TV -- some of our neighbors for whom I babysat had one before my parents broke down and bought our set -- it was heaven for me to babysit and get paid for watching I Love Lucy.!
Super fun photo! Looks like you guys are having a blast.
how was it, I meant to watch it but got watching something else on tv; plus I had no three-d glasses.
