Sunday wonders - Y

Y is for Youth.
You know you're getting old when you start thinking about the Fountain of Youth.

Mainly, I wonder:  what if you could you program the journey backwards?  Where would I want to stop it?

Would I want to go back just enough to have my kids be kids again?  Of course, they wouldn't be in the same time tunnel so that might be kind of weird.

Maybe a free and easy university student again?  Would I take all my thoughts and experience with me?  That would be kind of strange, too.

Somehow, I think that no matter what age I might stop, I'd always be watching the big kids and wishing I might be as grown up as they are.   I'm sure my character wouldn't really change.   Would yours?

That's such an interesting thought isn't it? Where would we want to be and why? Probably a good thing we don't get the option, but it's an interesting topic for sure.

Stopping time, and when would we stop it? Very interesting. Would we know what we do now, or only what we did then? Lovely pictures. Who is the baby, I'm thinking it's you? I think we would still be the same person with the same personality.

I'd love to be in my twenties again, but only with the wisdom 3 more decades have given me.

" I think the way life flows is wrong. It should be the other way around: One should die first, to get that out of the way.

Then, live in a nursing home and wait to be released once you are too young to be there. Then you start working. You work for forty years until you are young enough to enjoy your retirement. Now come the parties, drugs, alcohol. Fun, lovers, boyfriends, girlfriends, everything... until you are ready to enter high school...

Then you go through elementary, and you are a child that does nothing more than play, without responsibilities of any kind...

Then you become a baby and go back into your mother's womb. Here you spend the best and the last 9 months of your life, floating around in a warm liquid until your life goes out in an amazing orgasm...

Ginny - b/w photos are all me - even the baby.

Rose - yes, it's probably a good thing. But it makes you think.

Rudee - we probably wouldn't have near as much fun if we knew then what know now.

Diva - way to turn things on their head. It might just be a better system. We'll never know.

Loved seeing all these wonderful, cute photos! =)

Yes, I know exactly where I would want it to stop and my character at that time would definitely change. Hindsight is 20/20, as they say.
