Mellow Yellow Monday


Yesterday, I noticed that the hellebore "Ivory Prince"  had finally opened fully. 


This is what it looks like up close.  Only a pale yellow but I really liked the cool tubular parts around the yellow. Maybe that's the prince's crown?

Oh, my, these are lovely. They look very large, too. I have never seen one! Do they come up every year?
