Every time I look at these tulips in the garden, I think of the old song "When You Wore a Tulip" .
I first learned it in Grade 4 and thought it was kind of a mean song putting down the person who wore a smaller, less flashy, red rose.
You can just see the wee spider that has come to share the glamour. I think I'll request this song at our singing group this morning. Feels right.

Well, you added a little something extra special to Mellow Yellow Monday with the tiny spider, wonderful shots!! The song sounds familiar, I think I'll Google it to get the words.
I think I would have missed the spider - nice catch.
Lovely tulips!
I don't know that song. I do love tulips, though :D
Your yellow tulips are lovely. We have tried growing tulips but the deer that come around have found them to be absolutely yummy! So we hsve crocus instead. I have heard that they don't have a big taste for daffodils either, so we will try daffodils next year. Have a great week.
Talk about cheerful! Yellow Tulips. One of my favourites. Now I know what is missing in my poor neglected garden!
And now I can't stop singing that darn song.........
nice MYM by the way.
never heard of that song either.
