April challenge

T S Eliot said that 'April is the cruelest month' but I really don't believe that.  It's a month devoutly to be wished for by those of us who love spring with its fresh green leaves and colorful blooms.  OK, so there's that income tax deadline thing but let's not worry too soon.

April also brings the huge month-long blogfest known as the A-Z Challenge.  Today is the first day we can sign up to play - there are already almost two hundred bloggers linked in.  Last year was my first and I had such a great time.  I met lots and lots of new blog friends and learned some stuff, too.  If you want to try it just click the 2012 A-Z Challenge badge in my sidebar.  It'll take you right to the sign-up page.  There's lots of information available there if you're not sure how it works.

There's a lot of thinking time between now and April.  I know just how I'll start the process... I'm off to bind my new little mat.  Photos tomorrow.

You did so well the last time, I look forward to this spring. I wonder why he thought it is cruel, anyway?

I love April. Nothing better than new flowers popping up. I remember last year it rained nearly every day.

I can't wait to see how many people sign up for A-Z.

Yes I like April, too and I thoroughly enjoyed last year's A-Z challenge, though I may not join in this year. It's quite intensive and I'd kinda like to try using the time for my other writing, though I may succumb...

I did that last year too! I might just have to do it again! Thanks for the reminder.

I got the trivet today! I love it!

I try for 2 posts a week. I don't think I could manage that challenge.

I'm sure you will get lots of fun ones again with A-Z ;-)

April in Denmark can bring almost all sort of weather; snow, early summer, to much rain, or as most years: giving us a lovely month full of possitive spring! I'm born first in April - if not, I could not tell/remember it :-D

I think I need to write ahead this year, as we'll be starting our road trip. Last year I was on a jury during most of April, and it was stressful to write too, but in a way it was therapeutic. It should be much more fun for me this year!

Goodness! The little leaves are so c-u-t-e with the dirt still on them!

Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
