I hook rugs, I knit and I have a life - not always in that order. Hooking rugs in the traditional way is a passion. Knitting is a way of keeping those idle hands busy. In my life, I am a mother, partner, sister,aunt, friend and a happy grammy. I work with volunteers and seniors when I'm not doing those other things. I enjoy being creative - and often reinvent the wheel. Above all, I value things that are not only beautiful but useful.

Mellow Yellow Monday
People riding up an escalator usually look straight ahead and pretend they're all alone.
I like the friendliness in this photo. It must be all that yellow around making them so mellow.

What a keen observation. I don't think I've seen people involved in a conversation on an elevator! I'm too busy trying to keep it from nipping at me.
The friendliness is nice. Even when I'm with someone I know, I'm generally looking straight ahead!
I do look straight ahead when going on an escalator, I don´t stand an talk like that...so you´re right it might be all that yellow.

Sometimes, it helps that the surrounding looks cheerful. In this case, the yellow color helps. My mellow yellow is up :)
