I hook rugs, I knit and I have a life - not always in that order. Hooking rugs in the traditional way is a passion. Knitting is a way of keeping those idle hands busy. In my life, I am a mother, partner, sister, aunt, friend and a happy grammy. I work with volunteers and seniors when I'm not doing those other things. I enjoy being creative - and often reinvent the wheel. Above all, I value things that are not only beautiful but useful.

Ruby Tuesday
Ah, a summer memory...
...getting ready to open in Knights Town, County Kerry, Ireland.
The Ruby Tuesday meme is hosted by Mary T right here. Check it out.
What a PERFECT ruby for Tuesday! The 'red hatter' in me wonders whether those chairs are blue or PURPLE ??? Thanks for dropping by and, yes ... it IS a fuschia. Hugs and blessings,

I'd rather be there than here in gray and foggy Detroit.
Oh wow Stephanie! That's an amazing red building!! I love it! Great find for Ruby Tuesday that's for sure!
It looks rather startling and red, white and blue, too!
Good take with all the flowers.
Oh I missed this too but soon it will be here. Like to hang out here. Thanks for sharing!

What a beuatiful, atartling picture. I want to go in!! Even the flowers match the chairs!
It is so red, white, and blue that I thought is must be in the USA! Really pretty, though.

I love all the bright colors in Ireland! That picture makes you want to sit right down and drink a Smithwicks.
I'm a Guiness gal myself but it was a wee bit early for that.
What a lovely, charming place!
