It's here!

I woke up to a layer of frost on everything outside.  Winter has arrived.

This is the view I have while I work at my computer.

But let's take a closer look.  These mountains aren't more than a half-hour walk away from us.

This is what happens after we celebrate all those glorious fall leaf colors.  Let's button up our overcoats.  It's supposed to be a cold winter.

Looks beautiful! Who cares if it's cold - good excuse for knitting more hats, gloves, scarves and socks I say ;-p

Oh-uh, I'll admit that I'm not ready for this (fortunately I live in CA, although temps dipped to 50 degr F at night lately)

Bah, humbug!!!! I don't like the bleak mid-winter, or the almost as bleak beginning winter.

Oh gosh but that is gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous! We are having upper 70s today. I hate it. Your view is perfect!

Our elementary school had hot chocolate waiting for the kids who got to school on time this morning simply because of the cold!

From here it looks lovely, I'm sure a beautiful walk. I woke to drizzle this morning, the Maritimes are famous for rain at this time of year.
Sue has it right, perhaps I should stay inside and take up knitting, :-)

How nice, we haven't had any frost yet. I keep hoping we will have some kind of frosty weather soon. The mountains are lovely.

That's a nice view Stephanie, especially on a sparkly day.

The weather can't make up its mind in Detroit. It's warm...it's freezing. Rinse and repeat.

I wouldn't mind any of that weather if I had a view like yours!
