It's done

I'm not whining.  Well, maybe just a little bit.  You don't always get what you want, do you?

So, now this federal election is over and we're stuck with the results for another four years.  Such a different look to Canada's government today.  And while I'm not totally happy, I'm sure there are millions who are ecstatic this morning.

The wheel keeps turning.  What was down yesterday is on top today.  I hope those elected can all work together for the folks who put them there. And me, too.

'Nuff said about politics.  Let's get back to real life.  Knitting awaits.

Politics drives me NUTS! Hubs and I cannot even discuss them in the house--he's very conservative and I lean to the left. LOL

Can't wait to see what knitting creations you're up to next!

Sorry it didn't work out the way you had hoped.

I hear ya! I voted for who I thought had a chance instead of who I usually vote for, and I still "wasted" my vote. Sigh. Oh well. We tried.

I AM ecstatic - my vote helped to get Elizabeth May in!! Not happy with the majority Conservative (obviously), but at least it means no election again for 4 years, which will give her lots of time to show us what she's all about.

If I had the choice between politics and knitting, knitting would win hands down. Here, everybody is talking about the elections, and especially the referendum. I can’t wait until tomorrow, when they get it over with and we have a peaceful Friday :)
Your comments on my blog are missed dearly :(

Knitting is a comfort when we don't get what we want, isn't it?:)
I hear you (your previous post) -I agree about the politicians not leaving the dirt out! I wonder what their family members think...or are they blinded by their stardom?

I'm sorry, but from the time the election starts until it ends we have an upside down house here. My H is glued to the tv watching ever broadcast, hanging on every phrase. I rather only think of it in short wave, the promises come and go.

I like your idea of what was on top is on the bottom, very good

You can't be 100 percent happy when it comes to elections, no matter what country you're in. It will be interesting to see what the next four years will bring, if anything. After all, they say that nothing can really get done in that amount of time...
