I hook rugs, I knit and I have a life - not always in that order. Hooking rugs in the traditional way is a passion. Knitting is a way of keeping those idle hands busy. In my life, I am a mother, partner, sister, aunt, friend and a happy grammy. I work with volunteers and seniors when I'm not doing those other things. I enjoy being creative - and often reinvent the wheel. Above all, I value things that are not only beautiful but useful.

Ruby Tuesday
"Life is just a bowl of cherries." Lyrics from 1931 by Buddy G. DeSylva and Lew Brown
They're a little late this year but oh! so sweet and juicy - some of the best cherries I've ever had. Now if only life could really be like that.
More Ruby Tuesday over here. Thanks to Mary T for hosting the party.

PRAISE FOR RED
What is there about the color red
That makes me want to stand on my head,
And give a loud shout or two of praise
For crimson tints that brighten my days?
